Ciarra Torres is the director of The Early Learning Academy Preschool and has been for the past four years. Working with children with disabilities has been a passion of hers since early childhood. She has dedicated her life’s work to serving children with special needs and has been in the field for over a decade. She proudly holds a bachelor’s degree in Disability Services with a minor in Child Development and Family Relations and a master’s degree in special education. She recently became a certified RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) to assist with ABA services at the preschool. Some of the various classroom roles she has worked in include lead and assistant teacher, swim instructor, intern, co-teacher, ABA therapist, TSS, and the list goes on. She has worked with all age groups and a large variety of disabilities; however, preschool age is by far her favorite. Her experiences include DIR Floor-time, ABA, Sign Language, PECS Training, and more.
